Black Panther star Michael B Jordan takes on a science fiction classic in Fahrenheit 451.
Based on the classic sci-fi novel by Ray Bradbury, Jordan stars and executive produces the film for HBO. He plays Guy Montag, a fireman in the future. His job isn’t to fight fires, it’s to cause them. In this dystopian future, media is a drug to the masses and books are banned. All intellectual thought is banned and Montag’s job is to burn any books he finds as well as the homes that they are found in. When he rebels against his job and world, he finds himself in the crosshairs of his former boss and mentor Captain Beatty played by Michael Shannon.
HBO released the first footage of the movie and you can see it here.
