Writer-director Rian Johnson‘s crime thriller Knives Out starring Bond actor Daniel Craig is lining up an impressive supporting cast.
Details currently on the film are a little scarce at the moment.
Deadline reports that Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta, Get Out, Girl In The Spider’s Web) will play a detective in the film alongside Daniel Craig’s character. Earlier they also revealed that Captain America actor Chris Evans would also have a role in the film, which now explains the delays on Neill Blomkamp’s Greenland which was had it’s production start pushed to the winter and possibly into next year.
Variety adding an even more exciting name as character actor Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire, The Shape of Water) has joined Knives Out as well.
As Omega Underground pointed out previously Rian will reunite with cinematographer Steve Yeldin on the thriller with filming said to begin on November in Boston and the United Kingdom.
A release date has yet to be announced.
