‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’ Coming To The CW Fall 2019

Dec 12, 2018

The CW had one more surprise in store for the viewers of ‘Elseworlds.’

Major spoilers for the most recent episodes of ‘The Flash,’ Arrow,’ and ‘Supergirl’ below.

Just as this year’s crossover was wrapping up, a new logo popped up on screen, showing the title for ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths,’ a 1980’s comic book storyline that merged the multiverse into a singular universe. This came right after classic DC villain Psycho Pirate delivered a monologue teasing the infamous event. In the comics, Psycho Pirate was one of the DC villains recruited by Anti-Monitor to help destroy the multiverse.

The crossover also introduced the Monitor, and while he doesn’t always have the most heroic of intentions, his end goal is to stop the Anti-Monitor, so it is likely he will pop up again soon.

‘Elseworlds’ starred Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell, Melissa Benoist, and introduced Ruby Rose as Batwoman, who is poised to get her own show sometime next year.

‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’ doesn’t have a release date yet.
