Variety has word that Matt Smith has landed an unnamed role in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode IX, it remains to be seen if he’ll play friend or foe.
Filming is currently talking place and will wrap sometime in February.
Lucasfilm has set the final film in the trilogy for December 20th, 2019.
