Dan Trachtenberg Set To Helm ‘Uncharted’ at Sony; Shawn Levy Departs

Today, Variety announced that breakout director Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) has boarded the long-in-development Uncharted film for Sony Pictures. Originally Reel Steel director and Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy was attached to the project but had to depart due to scheduling conflicts. The studio has been wanting to work with Trachtenberg since 2016 when 10 Cloverfield Lane first came out.  This adaption of the popular video game franchise still has Tom Holland (Spider-Man:  Far Away From Home) attached as a young Nathan Drake. And follows his swashbuckling adventures with his mentor Sully.

Uncharted as no set release date
