Welcome To The Jungle, Danny DeVito and Awkwafina.
‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ star Danny DeVito has joined the cast of Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Jumanji’ sequel, which will mark his second live-action movie role for 2019. On DeVito’s casting, Johnson had this to say:
The magic of ‘Jumanji’ is who becomes who. And the idea of Danny DeVito joining our cast was too irresistible and something we knew we wanted to deliver to our audience this upcoming Christmas. Dwanta Claus loves everyone.”
Additionally, popular rapper and actress Awkwafina has boarded the film in a “key” undisclosed role that is reportedly very “significant” to the story.
Plot details surrounding the film are being kept under wraps for now, but all main cast members from the last ‘Jumanji’ are set to return, as is director Jake Kasdan. The pic is currently set to release on December 13, 2019.
