Deathstroke is getting his own animated series for the CW Digital platform CW Seed. The announcement came from the CW upfront presentation, by the network’s President Mark Pedowitz.

This series will follow in the footsteps of ‘Vixen,’ ‘The Ray,’ and ‘Constantine.’ Thus, there is the implication that Manu Bennett will reprise the role for the series. He portrayed the character in 36 episodes of ‘Arrow,’ also on The CW.

Previously, Joe Manganiello (‘True Blood,’ ‘Magic Mike XXL’) brought the character to life on the big screen in a cameo for Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League.’

Meanwhile, Esai Morales (‘Mars,’ ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’) will play Deathstroke in the second season of the DC universe series ‘Titans.’

There are no other details at the moment, such as cast, crew, or a premiere date.
