Details Revealed for Earth Atlantis on Nintendo Switch

Sep 5, 2017

In case you have missed the great Nintendo Nindies Showcase: Publisher Headup Games and the Pixel Perfex team, in close collaboration with Nintendo, recently announced that Earth Atlantis is going to be released this fall on Nintendo Switch.

Rediscover humankind’s sunken world

Players will dive into a new, yet familiar post-apocalyptic world, as huge parts of the earth and most major cities have been flooded. They’ll explore sunken ruins of humankind in four different submarines, each equipped with individual weapons and each with different advantages.

Gameplay for this intense retro style side-scrolling shooter features hunting down monsters which inhabit the deep sea and were only known in fairy tales and as rumors among sailors, but now roam freely through the aquatic world.

Centuries-old art style

Earth Atlantis features a unique art style reminiscent of old explorers’ sketchbooks from the 14th century, a time when the seas were yet to be explored fully. During this time the sea was considered a dangerous place full of monster.
