If you’ve seen the cover art for Doom, it kind of sucks. Bethesda seemed to think so too and offered the community a solution. Taking to Twitter they allowed the community to vote on back sleeve artwork. After a weekend of voting, we have a winner.
The new artwork is reminiscent of the original 1993 Doom cover art, and I really dig it. I wish they would scrap the current box art all together in favor of this, but what do I care I’ll buy it on Steam!

Doom is one of my favorite game franchises of all time and the original Doom one of my favorite games. I’ll be anxiously looking forward to the newest iteration when it launches May 13.
