Ducktales Reboot Snags Doctor Who Alum

Dec 16, 2016

With the announcement of a reboot of the iconic Disney Series, many wondered who would lend their voice talents to the new series. It sounds like we got some interesting news on that front.

With the passing of Alan Young earlier this year, there has been speculation as to who would embody the loveable skinflint Scrooge McDuck for a new generation. Tenth Doctor and Jessica Jones star David Tennant is taking on the top hat and spats. He will not be alone as the comedian heavy cast of the reboot takes shape.

Joining Tennant will be Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (House of Lies), and Bobby Moynihan ( Saturday Night Live) and Huey, Dewey and Louie. Fellow SNL alum Beck Bennett will be playing Launchpad McQuack and Kate Micucci (Garfunkel and Oats) playing Webby Vanderquack.

Ducktales will fly onto Disney? in 2017.
