Update: New information may confirm that is Dr. Light, not Lex Luthor.
Deathstroke may not be the only villain the Titans will face off against in the sophomore season of their show. The GWW has exclusively obtained a new character breakdown that reveals another mysterious enemy that will wreak havoc on the team. Check it out below!
Mercurial and unpredictable, Dax delights in the element of surprise. Awkward and unpopular as a young boy, he insulated himself from others and developed masterful skills of manipulation. This led to a successful career as a criminal, where he had a unique ability to catch the enemy off-guard with his unassuming nature. Having spent many years in prison for his crimes, Dax is thrilled by the opportunity to get back to work and create chaos for his foes.
The casting team is searching for a man of any ethnicity, age of 30-39, for the recurring role.
While the breakdown uses the codename “Dax,” the personality description indicates that this could be the infamous Superman foe Lex Luthor. At SDCC in 2018, executive producer Geoff Johns revealed that we would be seeing Superboy and Lex Luthor in the show, and Superboy already made his introduction in the finale of the first season. When the Titans eventually meet up with Superboy, I can’t imagine they would ignore the suspicious activity going on at CADMUS Labs; (now I’m purely speculating at this point) maybe Lex Luthor hires Slade Wilson to keep the Titans busy so they don’t discover anything he’s doing at CADMUS. This would factor into the part of the character description that says “create chaos for his foes.” Many other aspects of Lex Luthor’s personality is exemplified in the breakdown, but we won’t know for certain until “Dax” is cast. Until then, check back with The GWW for updates on the show!
‘Titans’ hails from Geoff Johns and Greg Walker. The show stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, and Ryan Potter. Season two will start filming on March 20th with an expected wrap date in September. No release date has been set.
