Michael Rooker, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Austin Stowell are heading to ‘Fantasy Island.’
The four join an extensive cast, which includes Michael Pena as Mr. Roarke. The rest of the cast comprises Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, and Ryan Hansen.
Michael Rooker’s credits include HBO’s ‘True Detective’ Season 3, ‘The Walking Dead,’ and both ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ films. Further, Charlotte McKinney was recently in ‘Flatliners’ and the ‘Baywatch’ remake. Parisa Fitz-Henley has appeared in ‘Luke Cage’ and ‘Jessica Jones.’ Lastly, Austin Stowell was in ‘Battle of the Sexes’ and will next be in the upcoming ‘Catch-22’ miniseries from Hulu.
Jeff Wadlow, the director and co-writer behind Blumhouse’s ‘Truth Or Dare,’ is helming the film, while Blumhouse and Sony are co-financing. Moreover, Wadlow also wrote the screenplay with his ‘Truth Or Dare’ scribes Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. Currently, there are no plot details.
Also, the Sony Pictures & Blumhouse film adaptation of the popular ABC series is set to begin production next week in Fiji. Sony will release the film on February 28, 2020.
