The poster for Free Guy is an example of the old saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Not to take anything away from the yet-to-be-released movie from 20th Century Studios and Director Shawn Levy, but this poster is an experience on its own. From the faraway look in Ryan Reynolds’ eyes to the intense Backstreet Boys vibe from Taika Waititi, there is enough to go around to keep you busy.

Shawn Levy and 20th Century Studios` open-world video game-inspired movie sure went all out on the poster for Free Guy. It shows you all that you would expect from a well-rounded open-world video game location like Free City. You have jets, helicopters, bikes, expensive cars, hot air balloons, explosions. And you can’t miss Utkarsh Ambudkar in that stunning Bunny suite.

What do you think of the Free Guy poster?

The design team situated the cast well in the center of this energetic poster. It does not take away from the mayhem happening in the background. So, whom do we have on the poster?

The most obvious addition is Ryan Reynolds as Guy (not to be confused with his character in The Croods), a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player. He is determined to become the guy who saves Free City. He is to become the hero and be the guy who saves his world. With coffee in the one hand and a goldfish in the other, you feel that this is not a background character to take lightly.

Others include Jodie Comer as tough-as-nails Molotov Girls/Millie, Lil Rel Howery in the ‘Mall Cop’ get-up, the Bunny in question Utkarsh Ambudkar as Mouser, Joe Keery for some reason Chuck comes to mind as Walter “Keys” Mckeys, and then we see Korg… Sorry Taika Waititi as the Big Bad Antwan.

Originally meant to air in July of 2020, the wait is over. So, before August 13, 2021, read our review of Free Guy here!
