Cole dropped a surprise freestyle on us last night. Surprising in that we haven’t heard in drop a freestyle in about 2 years. Last time he did this he came out with an album shortly after… ?. We just got one of the best Hip Hop albums of the year not too long ago. KOD. Cole writes and produces his own beats which is why it takes awhile to release and they are polished when finished. The quality of his work does not go unnoticed.
Could we be in store for a new mixtape this Fall or Summers end? Or is Cole referring to his new up and coming signees J.I.D and Bas, both mentioned in this freestyle. You may recall at the end of KOD the title is called ‘Intro to the fall off’ which to me is to be interrupted as another upcoming album or a part 2.
