I had the pleasure of sitting down with industry veteran Jeff Spoonhower of Resonator. Their first indie-game is a 2.5D Metroidvania about a young man sent on a mission to save Earth. The catch: he left as an infant and he wasn’t alone.
Why I backed this game: I love side scrolling platformers, Metroid and Castlevania games. I also love a great story. Anew has the visual art style and gameplay of some of my favorite games from the past. I also believe in Jeff and Steve. They have tremendous industry experience having worked on a number of great titles such as Bioshock and Syphon Filter.
