In 1981 Namco and Midway released Galaga! A sequel to 1979’s Galaxian, Galaga puts the player in control of a spacecraft shooting at enemy aliens arriving in formation who try to destroy, collide with, or capture the spaceship.

Released on multiple platforms including Atari 2600, NES, SNES, and many more as well as modern versions like the My Arcade series. Galaga is one of the all-time greats.

Today, George, a self-identified expert of Galaga lore, educates Jon while they relive one of the all-time multiplayer classics of the Generation X arcade game era.

So let’s fire up the emulator, grab a controller, and watch as Jon destroys George on the scoreboard as usual!

"You have to grow older, but you don't have to grow up." We're Generation X'ers who spent our childhood immersed in the music, movies, games, and pop culture of the late 70s & 80s. All of that stuff has shaped who we are today as adults. So all of those nostalgic things are still very much a part of how we live our lives & see the world in the 21st century.
