George Miller’s Epic Love Story ‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’ To Shoot In 2019 – Involves A Genie?

Oct 25, 2018

Deadline reports that that George Miller‘s next movie Three Thousand Years of Longing will be heading to the American Film Market next week as it’s planned to begin filming sometime next year.

THR has some interesting details to add including that the epic love story also called Djinn will involve a genie.

George had planned at one point to shoot two more Mad Max movies to follow-up Fury Road, but due to Warner Bros. stiffing him and his producing partner on a bonus they’ve been stalled. Despite how successful the film was at the Oscars and the extra money that poured in from home release.

The film is currently without a domestic distribution deal which means a release date has yet to be set.
