WHO YOU GONNA CALL?
As the Ghostbusters return to their roots in the city, the narrative swiftly dives into action when a power outage disrupts their welcome at the firehouse. This moment, with Winston referencing past power troubles, beautifully nods to the original team’s experiences, invoking a sense of nostalgia for longtime fans. The subsequent introduction to the characters’ school life adds depth, though a bit more exploration of their struggles could enhance the narrative.
After a brief and exciting battle with a fish-like ghost followed by some confusion about who is doing what and where. The real baddy is revealed although we only get some green lights and voice bubbles just enough to make it interesting and somewhat creepy.

The artwork in “Ghostbusters: Back in Town” strikes the perfect balance between comedic relief and nostalgia, capturing the essence of the franchise. Artists Blue Delliquanti and Mildred Louis deserve praise for seamlessly blending new elements with familiar faces from the original cast. While my enthusiasm for the series is palpable, it’s worth noting that personal bias can influence perception. Nevertheless, for fans of the franchise, this comic is a must-read, offering a new adventure into the Ghostbusters saga.
