Gillian Flynn’s Amazon Series ‘Utopia’ Eyes April Production Start In Atlanta

In the spring, it was announced that Gillian Flynn‘s (Gone Girl, Sharp Objects) next television project Utopia would be heading to Amazon after the streaming service landed the rights and pushed forward with a 9-episode order. A remake of Dennis Kelly’s British series.

A group of young adults, who meet online, get a hold of a cult underground graphic novel, which not only pins them as a target of a shadowy deep state organization, but also burdens them with the dangerous task of saving the world.

Omega Underground has learned they hope to get cameras rolling by April of next year in Atlanta, Georgia.

It’s currently unknown when Utopia will drop.
