Green Lantern Goes to HBO Max Featuring Alan Scott, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and More

Oct 10, 2020

We have finally got some news on the upcoming Green Lantern series for HBO Max and it sounds like is going to be a massive emerald experience.

From DC and HBO Max and Berlanti Productions comes a bold adaptation of the iconic comic book franchise: A saga spanning decades and galaxies. GREEN LANTERN will depict the adventures of a multitude of Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and Alan Scott—Earth’s first Green Lantern, who, true to the comics, is a gay man—and many more. The series will also include fan favorites such as Sinestro and Killowog, as well as introduce new heroes to the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps.

The show will seemingly focus on different eras of Lantern as we see the beginnings with Alan Scott and the future with Simon and Jessica. It’s also notable that fan favorites Hal Jordan and John Stewart seem to be missing from the roster and we can only speculate that is because they will have a big role in the upcoming Green Lantern Corps feature film which will likely tie into this series.

I know we are excited to see the Corps finally come to a small screen and will be following all the Green Lantern news as it drops.
