Lena Headey will co-star with Karen Gillan in the action thriller ‘Gunpowder Milkshake.’
HN Entertainment was the first to report on this scoop, when Headey was being eyed for the role late last month. Moreover, it is unknown if the other eyed actress Anya Taylor-Joy will join the project. She just signed onto Edgar Wright’s ‘Last Night in Soho,’ which is filming this summer.
Keshales & Papushado (‘Big Bad Wolves’) will direct, while the duo wrote the screenplay with Ehud Lavski. The film is a high-concept action thriller with a rich mythology that revolves around a multi-generational ensemble cast.
Further, Headey has the final season of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ coming up, along with MGM’s ‘Fighting with My Family’ next week.
Filming for ‘Gunpowder Milkshake’ will begin this spring, in Berlin, Germany. There is currently no release date yet.
