‘Harley Quinn’ Season 2 Set to Premiere April 3rd on DC Universe

Feb 21, 2020

Decider has revealed the premiere date of ‘Harley Quinn’ Season 2! The second season of the hit DC Universe animated series will premiere on April 3rd.

Not only have we been able to confirm this information with our own sources, but we have also learned that the release date was actually moved up. Previously, the second season was set to have a fall premiere date. This decision was based on the overwhelmingly positive reception of the series.

Also, back in January, we exclusively reported that Harley Quinn and her gang will be meeting three new characters in season 2: Catwoman, Batgirl, and Doctor Trap. It will be very exciting to see who else joins the fray this time around!

The 13-episode first season of the adult animated series premiered on November 29, 2019. The season finale just aired today, meaning fans will only have to wait six weeks until the start of the second season.

‘Powerless’ trio Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey serve as developers, writers, and executive producers. The series follows the misadventures of Harley Quinn and her best friend and partner-in-crime, Poison Ivy, after leaving her ex-boyfriend the Joker.

The cast of season one includes Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Ron Finches as King Shark, Tony Hale as Doctor Psycho, J.B. Smoove as Frank the Plant, Jason Alexander as Sy Borgman, Diedrich Bader as Batman, and Alan Tudyk as both Clayface and Joker.

The second season of ‘Harley Quinn’ will consist of 13 episodes, just like season 1. With the premiere set for April 3rd, the season 2 finale will air on June 26th.
