Hawkeye hasn’t even premiered yet on Disney Plus but the Marvel Studios is already developing a spin-off of one the series’ main characters. Variety is reporting supporting cast member in Hawkeye, Echo, will get her own Disney Plus series following her debut in the aforementioned archers’ solo show.

For those unfamiliar with the character Echo is a hearing impaired Native American who has the special ability to perfectly copy an individual’s fighting style. In the Hawkeye series Echo will be played by Alaqua Cox who will now get her own show from writers and producers Etan and Emily Cohen.

Echo has come into contact with many of Marvel’s street level heroes including Daredevil, Moon Knight and of course Hawkeye. Just because Echo has entered development does not mean it will necessarily make it to air but it’s certainly a promising prospect for Cox and the Hawkeye show as it shows Marvel Studios has extreme confidence in both.
