Netflix continues to push the boundaries of science fiction and storytelling with a new movie about evolution and survival.
In ‘The Titan’, San Worthington (Avatar) stars as a hotshot Air Force pilot Rick Janssen who is selected to become part of a secret government experiment designed to enhance human DNA so that the population of Earth can survive on Saturn’s largest moon, Titan. Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) plays his devoted wife, mother and scientist on the same mission. Worthington and Schilling are joined by Tom Wilkinson (Michael Clayton) as the leader of the experiment.
After the experiment is completed, Rick discovers that he has superhuman abilities. His abilities not only help adapt him to the environment on Titan, but they also change him physically and emotionally, putting everyone he loves and the future of humanity at risk.
