During WonderCon 2014, before the robot builders booth was mobbed for the day, I got a chance to talk with Michael McMaster and Mike Senna
and their Wall-E’s.  The level of detail that goes into their projects is amazing.  I had my first encounter with Wall-E a few years ago while photographing Norman Reedus at Comikaze, Norman was fascinated with the amount of detail that these men have put into their builds.

About Mike Senna

Mike & Amy Senna live in Orange County, CA. Mike is a skilled prop maker/hobbyist who built an exact working replica of R2-D2 in 2003 because he was looking for a challenge & wanted to bring joy to children. In 2010 he began building 2 WALL-E replicas, which he finished in 2013. He makes a living as a computer programmer. Amy serves as photographer/ webmaster. Our R2-D2 has been filmed for VH1, MTV, Access Hollywood, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Verizon & Toyota. It has made hundreds of appearances.
