Jake Kasdan, who directed the feature that made $962 million worldwide, is back as the helmer for the sequel. Also, Kasdan co-wrote the script with returning screenwriters Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Sony Pictures will release the film on December 13, 2019.
