‘Jurassic Park’ Screenwriter David Koepp Hired To Pen ‘Bride of Frankenstein’ Reboot

Dec 18, 2015

Yesterday, Variety learned that screenwriter David Koepp has been hired by Universal to pen the upcoming Bride of Frankenstein reboot. Koepp’s relationship with Universal dates back to the early 1990’s. His work includes the original Mission Impossible, Jurassic Park and 2002’s Spider-Man.

This of course will be apart of the classic monster cinematic universe created by creative leaders Chris Morgan and Alex Kurtzman. Plot on the film of course is being kept under wraps but it will be set in modern times so the characters can crossover with The Mummy, Van Helsing, The Wolfman, Dracula, The Invisible Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon.
