Justice League Logo and Synopsis revealed

Jun 21, 2016

Warner Bros. has unveiled the official logo and synopsis for the upcoming Justice League film, which is currently in production.

It also appears the film will not be broken into two parts, as previously revealed. This title is much more simplistic compared to the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice logo and especially the brightly colored, Suicide Squad logo. The text is all white and includes a star in-between the I and C in “Justice”.

Deborah Snyder has also confirmed that Steppenwolf will be the villain in Justice League. Steppenwolf was previously featured in a deleted scene from Dawn of Justice. Steppenwolf is an uncle and lieutenant of Darkseid, who I would assume would be the main villain in the JL sequel. Steppenwolf will lead an army of Parademons. We witnessed a first glimpse of these creatures during the Knightmare sequence in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Official Synopsis:

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher. JL will hit theaters November 17th, 2017.
