Kiersey Clemons joined the DC Universe way back when Rick Famuyiwa cast her in his version of The Flash which he ended up stepping away from. Zack Snyder then used Clemons for a very brief appearance in his Justice League film. After The Flash seem to encouter many development issues it became unclear if Clemons would return to the role as other offers and projects started to fill up her calendar.
The Hollywood Report now reveals Kiersey Clemons will be making her return to DC Films as the romantic love interest to Barry Allen in Any Muschietti’s The Flash starring Ezra Miller.
While Clemons’ schedule was always the issue with her return, it appears she turned down other offers specifically to free her up for this project showing the actress is still dedicated to the role.
The Flash helmed by Andy Muschietti with a screenplay by Christina Hudson is currently scheduled to hit theaters November 4th, 2022 and will be produced by Barbara Muschietti, Michael Disco with Marianne Jenkins executive producing.
