Leonado DiCaprio Playing A Serial Killer In Martin Scorsese’s ‘Devil In The White City’

Aug 11, 2015

The Wrap has word that the stalled adaptation of The Devil In The White City has landed at Paramount, with Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese re-teaming for the thriller. Previous, the studio worked with the pair on The Wolf of Wall Street, which earned five Oscar nominations.

DiCaprio will play Dr. H.H. Holmes, a prolific serial killer who stalked the fairgrounds at Chicago’s World’s Fair in 1893. Holmes worked for the producer/architect of the World’s Fair, so he had intimate knowledge of the location. The charming sociopath is rumored to have killed up to 200 people and studied the remains for science.
