Jonathan Majors, one of the stars of the HBO special Lovecraft County has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe! According to Deadline, Majors has been tapped to play a major role in the upcoming Antman 3. According to Deadline’s sources Jonathan Majors is playing Kang the Conqueror. At this time Marvel Studios has yet to comment on the casting. At this time its unknown whether Kang will become a recurring villain like his source material counterpart or a one off. Jonathan major has risen to stardom as of late due to his role in the massively successful Lovecraft County as well as appearing in Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods.
Antman 3 is set to be directed by Peyton Reed once again along with Jeff Loveness is writing the script and as with all MCU films, Kevin Feige is producing. Antman 3 is currently set to hit theaters in 2022.
