Lucasfilm Eyeing Fall/Winter Start On Jon Favreau’s ‘Star Wars’ Series

While Lucasfilm has yet to announce anything official for anthologies Kenobi or Boba Fett on their main website they have been slowly putting together a crew for Jon Favreau’s untitled Star Wars series for Disney’s streaming service.
We have learned that filming could begin as soon as this fall or winter.
Favreau will serve as producer and writer but is expected to hire others to direct episodes.
Once we get production dates and locations we will certainly update.
Lucasfilm has yet to announce an official air date for the series but there is an expectation it could be ready for the launch in the fall of 2019.
