It came as a shock to everyone when Jeph Loeb announced at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer that Iron Fist will be getting a sequel season. So much so that star Finn Jones didn’t even know prior to the announcement. It was however also revealed that the show would be dropping the previous showrunner Scott Buck (Who also was hired for the Inhumans) and instead hired writer Raven Metzner (Elektra, Heroes Reborn) has taken over duties.
Now SpoilerTV has revealed that filming on the series is expected to begin December 6th in New York City. While this slightly contradicts what My Entertainment World has posted. Stating production will start in late November…a few days off won’t make much of a difference:
Lastly, Simone Missick will also be joining the upcoming cast of Iron Fist. Reprising her role of Detective Misty Knight.
