Jan 8, 2021

Michael Waldron appears to be a Disney superstar as the creator just signed a overall deal with the company to write and produce multiple future projects with the house of mouse.

Waldron is currently credited with writing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as well as serving as head writer and executive producer on Disney Plus’ upcoming Loki series. Deadline is now reporting the writer will be stay an employee of Disney for a long while as he signed a major deal with the company and is not only set to take the reigns of Loki Season 2, a project we reported was in early development in 2019 but Waldron will also be the one to pin the Kevin Feige produced Star Wars film.

Waldron’s deal with Disney is relatvily unheard of and shows the studios has extreme confidence in the writer and his ability to bring their stories to both big and small screens.

Not much is known beyond the Deadline report or what the Feige Star Wars movie will entail but we will be sure to keep you updated as the story progresses
