THE NEXT INVESTIGATION BEGINS.

1943 World War II is raging and Minky is still struggling to get her father on her side and to become a full-fledged detective. However, this does not stop the ever-talented Miss Woodcock from accepting a new case. A conspiracy involving none other than Nikola Tesla. The mention of Tesla`s death ray has been met with equal interest from world governments to sinister organizations (Nazi Germany). All trying to get their hands on it first. Joining Minky her latest adventure is  Josephine Baker famous French performer, Otto Skorzency SS Lieutenant Colonel,  J.P Morgan Jr, and Dr. John Trump.

THE ART AND STYLE of minky woodcock.

Cynthia von Buhler does amazing work once again. From reproducing the vintage aesthetic of the 1940s to perfectly capturing the mannerisms of the people. You will find yourself lost in the background of the panels to explore the little details. Because the artwork is so brilliantly done, this has the look and feel of a 1940s film, and nothing seems out of place. This is comic art at its best.

FINAL VERDICT.

Minky Woodcock: The Girl Who Electrified Tesla is an amazing book. With Minky continuing to wow and amaze specifically in an era where her actions would have been frowned upon. She faces adversity almost around every corner but with great resolve, a can-do attitude, and a great self believe there is nothing that can stop this fiery and fierce woman from achieving her goals. With a deeper underlying story of weapons of mass destruction, brilliantly interwoven with fact and fiction this is simply a must for any fan of a great detective story.
