Mondo Gallery kicked off their latest art show running this weekend (August 18th-20th), Heroes in a Half Shell: A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Celebration. The show brings many talented artists as they bring their iteration of the four popular turtles to print. The show includes amazing work from Dave Perillo, Stan Sakai, Cameron Stewart and one of my personal favorites Matt Ryan Tobin.
GWW managed to stop by for a first look of the gallery and I have to tell you, if you are an art collector or a fan of the turtles, you definitely won’t want to miss this.
If you weren’t able to make it to the event, be on the look out as some of these prints may manage to make their way their MondoTees.com. No official word on that yet.

Heroes in a Half Shell: A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Celebration invites TMNT fans of all ages to celebrate everyone’s favorite wise-cracking, pizza-obsessed crime fighters and their cast of heroic allies and evil arch enemies.
Mondo Gallery’s Heroes in a Half Shell: A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Celebration kicks off with two events, free and open to the public. The opening night reception will be held Friday, August 17 from 7:00–10:00pm, followed by a special TMNT Family Day party on Saturday, August 18, from 10:00am — 12:00pm featuring pizza (of course!) and other TMNT-inspired treats, face painting, a photo booth, and other fun activities! Following these events, the show will run during regular gallery hours, Tuesdays — Saturdays from 12:00pm — 6:00pm, through August 25. Mondo Gallery is located at 4115 Guadalupe Street in Austin, TX.
