In addition the network has expanded the second season episode order to twelve and will air an after show special entitled, Hacking Robot. Series creator, Sam Esmail is still set to direct all twelve episodes of the sophomore season. These moves make sense considering the critical acclaim the series has received since premiering last summer. Not to mention that almost overnight Mr Robot has become a culture phenomenon and continues to grow in viewership, due to word of mouth from fans. Seriously, if you have not watched or re-watched Mr Robot season one then do it now, because “we’re on the other side of something we never signed up for.”

“The 5/9 hack that’s all I care about,” explains FBI agent Dom Dipierro (Grace Gummer), as she leads a task force investigating fsociety’s involvement in the ECorp hack. While they are trying to track down the whereabouts of known fsociety conspirator, Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom) the real group leader is handling their only liability; himself. “This is you’re fault, all of it,” states Elliot (Rami Malek) to Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), as the troubled duo square-off about the events leading up to the 5/9 hack. Seriously, what happened between Tyrell and Elliot those three days prior to the ECorp hack? One of all the all new Mr Robot season two teasers shows Joanna Wellick (Stephanie Corneliussen) shouting in the street and drenched in blood. Meanwhile both the Darlene (Carly Chaikin) and Philip Price (Michael Cristofer) teasers setup a new “clash of titans” dynamic for this season; with Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday) caught in the middle. Darlene will not back down from a fight that she started and Philip Price is a veteran in this war.
