Play

More things are connected to the internet than the people on the planet. But! in only three years there will be a significant swing upward in a demand for connecting things to weave in our every day tasks.

Will our heavy reliance on technology only make self survival a forgotten dream? Chris worries that if there are ever wide-spread connectivity issues, how will humans cope? Will they be able to rely on their own capabilities to get by or will we become so dependent on the 25+ billion intelligent systems out there that this will spell our demise as a race?

Leave your comments below to share what you think about the future of connected things and humans together.

Thanks for your support and for listening!

Elijah lives in Canada and spends his spare time hosting the Nerdy By Nature Podcast, grabbing new friends to join GWW, playing board games, cycling, or playing a Barb in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Sitting down is not his forte as keeping busy started with three kids (2 boys and a girl). He grew up along side the PC and spent countless hours playing multiplayer Quake with a 9600 baud modem (despite the lag). These days, Steam is his favourite place to play online, along with Forza Horizon on XBOX Live (when his oldest son lets him play).
