After having just unveiled its full schedule, one of the many surprises set for DC FanDome is “Beyond Batman”; a new 5-minute animated short film set to debut at the event, currently sandwiched right after the Flash panel and right before the Suicide Squad panel. The full details have been included in the image below (with timings set to BST), and it sounds like it might be both a fun new adventure back in the streets of Neo-Gotham as well as a nice tribute to the late Adam West; the first actor to don the cape & cowl on our TV screens.
This is not the first animated Batman Beyond short film to reference the old 1966 Batman TV show; a short film released in 2014 from Darwyn Cooke featured a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo from an animated take on that caped crusader.
