NEW DOWNLOADS ON THE NINTENDO ESHOP – APRIL 20TH

Apr 20, 2018

Another week means more downloadable games from everyone’s favorite video game company. To coincide with the physical release, the featured game in Nintendo’s ever-growing library is the comedy-RPG (new term, called it) South Park: The Fractured Butt Whole. For those that have not played it, the latest South Park game has players assume the role of the New Kid in a quest to bring South Park’s superhero team to the forefront of justice – and the big screen. Check out the trailer below:

Among the other titles being released, there are a few worth mentioning. First is the classic Neo Geo arcade fighter Real Bout Fatal Fury Special, the first in the series to include the acclaimed two-line battle system. Next is the charming pixel-style Death Road to Canada, a rogue-like shooter that finds players fighting zombies and teaching dogs to drive. The jewel in the crown this week is the digital release of Wild Guns Reloaded, featuring the classic steampunk arcade-shooter with added bosses, stages, and weapons.

On the mobile front, the popular Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is getting an update. New features and animals have arrived! The Fortune Cookie Shop is now open in Market Place. When you eat one of the cookies available there, you will get a random item based on the type of cookie. You can obtain fortune cookies with Bells and Leaf Tickets—some of which can be traded with Bells but some may be acquired trading in Leaf Tickets. Everyone’s favorite frequently lost seagull, Gulliver, has arrived on Sunburst Island to help you get rid of your extra furniture or clothing. Gulliver will load your extra items onto his cargo ship and when he returns you can get snacks, which you can give to your animal buddies to become better friends with them.
