‘Orphan Black’ Series in the Works at AMC; Will Be a New Installment (Not a Reboot or Spin-off)

In early development at AMC is a new series that takes place in the universe of ‘Orphan Black.’ And yes, at the moment it is not at the original BBC America. However, they are sister networks, and this series could be simulcast like the upcoming second season of ‘Killing Eve.’

Details are slim, but we do know that this would not be a spinoff or reboot of the original series, but rather a completely new story set in the same world.

The original studio, Temple Street Productions, are not only onboard, but also currently seeking a writer for the project. Additionally, they are looking to bring in multiple people to pitch different takes on what the show could be.

Hopefully we get some appearances from characters of the original show, but as of now, there is no confirmation.
