Patrick Stewart Joins ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Reboot As A Second Bosley

Sep 17, 2018

Director Elizabeth Banks is about to begin production on her reboot of the Charlie’s Angels franchise for Sony Pictures and there is a new casting addition.

THR reveals that Banks will not be the only actor playing Angels handler Bosley in the film as the role has gone to veteran actor Patrick Stewart (Logan, Green Room). The role had been previously played by comedic actors Bill Murray and Bernie Mac, it’s more of a mantle than an actual character.

We recently revealed that Matrix cinematographer Bill Pope has joined the action film.

Filming will take place this fall in Berlin and Istanbul.

Sony has set the film’s release date for September 27th, 2019.
