‘Plastic Man’: Amanda Idoko To Pen Script At Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. has tapped Amanda Idoko to write a script based on popular DC character Eel O’Brian, AKA Plastic Man. Bob Shaye is on board to executive produce the pic.

Plastic Man was introduced in 1941 as a criminal who was doused in an unknown chemical during a robbery gone wrong. After healing at a monastery, Plas began to use his powers to help people.

The character has carried multiple ongoing comic books as well as having his own animated series and appearing in a multitude of others.

Idoko’s first feature film is going into production next year with Tate Taylor directing and Allison Janey starring.

‘Plastic Man’ does not yet have a release date.
