UPDATE: Warner Bros. has confirmed Walters will be a series regular.

Season two of DC’s ‘Titans’ begins production today, and it may be with a new series regular.

The GWW is hearing that Curran Walters is being upped from recurring guest star to series regular for the second season of the DC Universe series. Since we can’t officially confirm this yet, we’re labeling it as a rumor for now.

Walters guest starred as the second Robin, Jason Todd, in the fifth and sixth episode of the first season. His character was a fan favorite, with his main episode being regarded as one of the best by many viewers.

Newcomers Joshua Orpin (Superboy), Chelsea Zhang (Ravager), and Chella Man (Jericho) will be series regulars as well, with Orpin starring in ten episodes and Zhang and Man starring in seven episodes. Based on this, Walters is likely to appear in a similar amount of episode.

‘Titans’ hails from Greg Walker, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter, and Greg Berlanti. The show stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, and Ryan Potter. Season two will air sometime this Fall.
