According to That Hashtag Show, ‘Twenties’ director Justin Tipping has been tapped to direct ‘Harbinger.’ He co-wrote the script with Joshus-Beirne Golden after the film was put on hold.
Per THS, the movie will focus on team of people with superpowers to stop Toyo Harada, who is hellbent on taking over the world.
‘Harbinger’ will follow Vin Diesel’s ‘Bloodshot,’ which is the first movie in a planned five-film universe based on the Valiant comics universe. ‘Harbinger’ was originally planned to come first but plans changed for unknown reasons. Dave Wilson is helming the project with a script from Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heiserrer. Besides Diesel, the film stars Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, and Toby Kebbell. It will hit theaters on February 21, 2020.
