Today, during the Warner Brothers Hall H presentation the studio blew up the the place with a slew of title cards for their upcoming film slate. The studio had previously announced Batgirl, The Batman, Shazam and Green Lantern Corps are all in development. Now the studio has revealed that they are moving forward with Suicide Squad 2, Wonder Woman 2 and that The Flash solo film will be based on Flashpoint! Gotham City Sirens, Nightwing and Cyborg were absent from the upcoming slate of films. Unfortunatly, no release dates were announced.
It also seems like this will “reset” the DC Extended Universe…But no Ben Affleck confirmed he is still staying on for The Batman.
Back in October 2016 Jeffery Dean Morgan (Batman v Superman) revealed if DC ever did make a Flashpoint film he would love to come back as Thomas Wayne’s Batman:
“Maybe when he cast me that was kind of the goal. Hopefully, DC can figure this all out, and in a few years I can come back and do a Flashpoint Batman! I would love it. That would be great.”
