We at Omega Underground have been following along closely to Nintendo and Lionsgate’s very first live-action Pokemon movie. After the success of Pokemon Go a feature film was greenlight by Lionsgate based on the Japanese mini-game Detective Pikachu. Now after casting Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu. Along with Justice Smith as the human trainer Tim and Kaythrn Newton as the hot-headed journalist Lucy. The two embark on an adventure on why Tim’s father a Pokemon Scientist has gone missing as well as why captured Pokemon are turning on their Trainers.
Now with production officially beginning earlier this month under the title Gumshoe we have our very first set photos from the London set. Here we are introduced to a new location called Rhyme City where the film will take place. It’s unknown which region this city resides but it could be a brand new location in the Pokemon Universe:
