Looks Like They’re Giving Us More-a

Do you remember this game? Sine Mora Ex, the shoot ’em up video game developed by Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture back in 2012, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 26.

This title was originally released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 but Sine Mora Ex serves as a remaster with new features, enhanced visuals, and smoother framerates. Thanks to developer THQ Nordic, this updated remaster came back into our lives August 8 of this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (Windows). So if you own those platforms, you don’t have to wait!

Sine Mora Ex features a cool mechanic where instead of having a health bar or taking damage in a traditional way, you have a timer at the top of the screen, and if you get hit too many times, the remaining time diminishes more rapidly and ultimately will result in a game over.

Sine Mora allows you to find ways around this by giving you the ability to change time at certain points in each level, providing you with fun and surprising ways to thwart your enemies’ attacks. With many ways to manipulate time, Sine Mora features over 50 weapon combinations to complete each beautiful stage that fits to the player’s skills with scaling difficulty.

Mixing classic shooter sensibilities with contemporary presentation, Sine Mora is a gorgeous shoot’em up offering both a Story Mode that weaves an over-the-top tale and an Arcade Mode that provides deep, satisfying gameplay to challenge fans of the genre. In fact, this title features dual story plots that follow the paths of different characters attempting revenge on a genocidal Empire that has reeked havoc across the world.

Sine Mora Ex looks like it might still be the fantastic shoot em’ up we played back in 2012. Look for a review of this title some time next week!
