Let me start by saying I am a massive Sonic The Hedgehog fan. I have play many of the games, watched all the TV shows and read a lot of comics and I can say without a doubt this comic run is one of my favourite interpretations of these characters Sonic, Tails and Amy.

In this issue Sonic The Hedgehog #40 Belle The Tinkerer and Sonic’s story meet after being separated for a couple issues. At the beginning Dr Eggman is in full force fighting Sonic, Tails, Amy and even Tangle appears! The way they all fight and interact together this awesome with Sonic at his best.

Evan Stanley’s writing for these characters is perfect, when you read it you can hear the characters voices in your head saying the words which personally does not happen with me if the characters are poorly written or written out of character.

The art also by Evan Stanley and Adam Bryce Thomas is also impeccable these characters designs are spot on what every Sonic fan wants. Classic character designs. What more can you ask for from this issue? It has everything. Great action, writing and art.

I loved this issue and I’m sure every Sonic fan and even newcomers will definitely enjoy. I am very excited to see what goes on in the future of this comic run.
