Recently Netflix and Marvel begun filming on Daredevil season 2. This time around the show is looking to introduce longtime Daredevil friends and foes The Punisher and Elektra. Both played by Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) and Elodie Yung (G.I.Joe: Retaliation).
But many fans have wondered if our favorite web-crawler who was recently reacquired by Marvel Studios will ever enter Marvel’s new street universe with his longtime friends in the comics Daredevil and Punisher. While this may be nothing little over thirty minutes ago from this post actor Tom Holland posted a selfie with The Punisher himself Jon Bernthal. It’s interesting to see this since Daredevil is currently filming in New York with Bernthal spotted on set. It should also be noted the reason it took Marvel so long to cast Peter Parker was because they most likely want to use this actor and character over multiple platforms for the next decade. So that would include Netflix if the show creators wanted to use him…
Some may think it also could be also for Captain America: Civil War which is also filming but it’s unlikely any of the Netflix characters will appear in that movie this late into introduction.
